Cideng River Embankment in Menteng Atas Being Repaired

The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is seen repairing the broken embankment of the Cideng River's connecting channel, Jalan Rela, Menteng Atas, Setiabudi.
This repair involves 13 personnel every day
Setiabudi Sub-district SDA Field Coordinator, Billy expressed repairing the embankments on Jalan Rela is a follow-up to suggestions from residents because many parts had been broken.
"Residents immediately wrote to us about this matter," he expressed, Thursday (9/7).
Embankment on West Side of Panggang Island RepairedHe explained that repairs to the embankment, which is 137 meters long, 70 centimeters high, and 30 centimeters wide, have been ongoing since August 31, 2023, and are targeted for completion by the end of September.
"This repair involves 13 personnel every day," he added.
Hopefully, it could minimize inundation and flooding as a result of overflowing water channels.
"We also urge residents to help maintain this embankment together," he stated.
